The day of my Perpetual Profession was a profoundly grace-filled moment, illuminated by the theme “Love calls for a response of love,” a cherished wisdom of St. Mary Euphrasia that shaped the entire celebration and the offering of my life. The Eucharistic celebration took place at St. John the Baptist’s Church in Maunghtawlay, Yangon. The Mass was presided by Bishop Francis Than Htun and co-celebrated by Bishop Noel, alongside about twenty-six priests, brothers, and sisters from different congregations. Their presence was a beautiful sign of communion in Christ and a reminder that every vocation is held within the embrace of a loving Church. As I approached the altar to profess my vows, I felt surrounded not only by the people present but by the love of God that had gently guided me to this day. With each word of my consecration, I understood more deeply that my response was simply an echo of the immense love God had first poured into my life. The homily, the hymns, and the solemn ritual all carried the same message: that authentic vocation is born from love and sustained by love. When I lay prostrate during the Litany of the Saints, I entrusted my entire life to the God who has loved me faithfully, trusting that His love would continue to shape my mission and my future. I felt the spiritual closeness of my family, my community, and all who had supported my journey; their love had been a reflection of God’s tenderness and had strengthened my “yes.” As the Church blessed me and the celebration concluded, a quiet but profound joy filled my heart, a joy rooted in the certainty that responding to God’s love with love is the greatest gift and the deepest calling of my life. Truly, it was a day overflowing with grace, a day when I felt embraced by divine love and renewed in my desire to live my vocation with fidelity, compassion, and a heart wide open to the world.
