(October 18-23,2025)
Good Shepherd Sisters from Myanmar Sector gathered for annual retreat at Narzaret Retreat Center, Anisakhan, from October 18 to 23, 2025 — a sacred time set apart to refresh body, mind, and spirit, to rekindle our spirituality, and to deepen our relationship with God.
Guiding us on this spiritual journey was Rev. Fr. Edward Sein Myint SDB, whose gentle wisdom, profound experiences, and compassionate presence became a true blessing to all. With the theme “Spirituality of Consecrated Life,” Fr. Edward accompanied us with inspiring reflections, tender humor, and heartfelt insights that touched the depths of our souls.
After our annual retreat, we came together as one sector for a two-day gathering on the 25th and 26th of October. Sisters from across the country joined in, except for a few who are currently in abroad. It was a precious time to share blessings, challenges, and the grace of journeying together.
Under the gentle and wise guidance of Sr. Rebecca Kay Thi Oo, our Province Leader, we reflected deeply on how to continue walking together in the spirit of synodality. In this sacred time of communion, we listened to one another with open hearts, drew strength from our shared experiences, and renewed our sense of unity and purpose.
This beautiful moment of togetherness enriched us, inspired us, and rekindled our energy for the mission of reconciliation—to bring healing, peace, and hope wherever we are called to serve.
